One of the great assets of the Recovery Without Walls program is its location. Mill Valley, California is an astonishingly beautiful small Marin County town. Nested in a redwood grove just 10 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge, Mill Valley offers intimate restaurants, wonderful book stores, unique gift shops, innovative theater venues, a world class rock music club (that routinely gets musicians like of Bonnie Rait casually sitting in on a set), great hiking on glorious Mt.Tamalpais and a 25 minute drive to the Pacific Ocean.
What does this have to do with recovery? Everything. We want our patients to start living their lives again; engaging their minds and their senses. Seeing, tasting and experiencing all life has to offer. We encourage our out-of-town patients to explore as much of our wonderful town and surrounding Marin County as possible while you are with us.
